National law firm, Gateley Plc, has announced the promotion of 30 lawyers across its national network, including six to partner.

The promotions span its Corporate, Construction, Employment, Pensions, Regulatory, Real Estate and Commercial Dispute Resolution teams.

Gateley Plc has made two partner-level promotions to its Corporate department; Birmingham-based Tom Rush and Manchester-based Stephen Roberts have both been promoted to partner.

Regulatory specialist Pauline Munro has also been made partner in Leeds, as well as Merran Sewell in the Employment team in Birmingham, Manchester-based Stuart Evans in the Pensions team, and Construction specialist Hayley Sullivan, also based in Manchester.

In addition, seven have been promoted to legal director. This includes Nottingham-based Clive Day in Gateley’s Employment team and Nicola Richardson in Manchester as part of the Commercial Dispute Resolution department. In Birmingham, five were made legal director; Neil Warner in Commercial Dispute Resolution, Construction’s Kate Onions and Amira Khan, Victoria Portman in Restructuring, and Chris Cheatle from the Real Estate team.

A further eight have been promoted to senior associate and nine to associate.

These promotions mark the end of a busy financial year for Gateley Plc, in which the firm has hired 10 new partners. Stuart Tait joins the Restructuring team in Manchester, Richard Morton has been appointed to Banking & Finance in Leeds, Jane Cowley joins Private Client and Family in Leicester, and Richard Anderson joins the Construction team in Leeds. In Reading, Andrew Peddie, Nicola Kirk, Owen Reynolds, Patrick Long, Paul de Vince and John Downs, join Corporate, Restructuring, Private Client, Banking & Finance, Commerce Technology & Media, and Real Estate, respectively.
