Gateley Plc expands Private Client offering in the East Midlands

We have appointed legal director Fiona Debney to our Private Client team. Based in the firms’ Leicester office, Fiona has joined to develop the Private Client offering across Gateley Plc’s Leicester and Nottingham offices.

Fiona, who is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SfE) and STEP and former trustee for the Birmingham Institute for the Deaf, joins from Clarke Willmott where she was Head of the Birmingham Private Capital team. Prior to this, she was Head of team for the West Midlands and East Midlands at Challinors Solicitors.

Her areas of specialism include: lifetime wealth protection and planning for high-net-worth clients with a focus on those owning their own businesses that also need to consider succession issues both professionally and personally. Her passion for all affairs equine has led to her advising a number of clients in the eventing and racing arenas.

Fiona has a broad range of experience in a number of areas, enabling her to advise clients on any issues within lifetime wealth protection and planning, will, powers of attorney, estates, courts of protection and trusts.
