Niall is a solicitor in the restructuring team and advises on recovery, restructuring, turnaround and a variety of other transactional and advisory work relating to financial stress.
Niall advises companies and directors as well as secured and unsecured creditors (including a variety of banks and lenders) on matters of financial stress and distress. He also works alongside insolvency practitioners, fixed charge receivers and other restructuring and turnaround professionals in implementing restructuring strategies.
Experience
- Working as part of the team advising RSM UK Restructuring Advisory LLP on the pre-pack sale and purchase of the business and assets of Shuropody Retail Limited, securing 260 jobs.
- Assisting and advising Yorkshire based consortium on the purchase of Farmison & Co from administration.
- Reviewing and advising on a prominent retail and commercial Bank’s security position across their lending portfolio.
- Assisting and advising BDO UK LLP on the administration of the national HCT Group.
- Advising individuals who are facing (or alternatively, creditors seeking to issue) Statutory Demands, formal bankruptcy proceedings, winding up petitions and court applications for administration.
