Rachael regularly assists on a range of pension issues, providing pension scheme trustees and employers with day-to-day advice in relation to the management and operation of their pension schemes. She also regularly advises on the pension aspects of corporate transactions.
Rachael is a full member of the Association of Pensions Lawyers.
Experience
- Advising on the pension’s aspect of corporate transactions involving a range of pensions complications including historic DB schemes, auto-enrolment breaches and SIPPs.
- Reviewing and drafting pension trust deed and rules.
- Drafting pension scheme documentation including deeds of appointment, removal and amendment.
- Advising trustees on the interpretation of scheme rules relating to how to distribute a surplus on the employer winding-up.
- Providing legal updates to trustees.
