Sarah’s day to day work involves advising clients in respect of a wide variety of commercial disputes including breaches of contract, restrictive covenant enforceability, business acquisition disputes, shareholder claims and settlement negotiations. She has experience in a broad range of high value commercial disputes, including jurisdictional challenges, breach of licence agreement, and without notice applications for injunctions. Sarah’s clients operate nationally and internationally and across a variety of sectors from commercial land development to software providers.
In 2020, Sarah went on secondment to a food retailer client’s national in-house legal team. Over the course of her five-month secondment, Sarah advised on numerous commercial issues including non-disclosure agreements, commercial contract drafting, and debt litigation.
Experience
- Obtaining a without notice order for delivery up and injunctions in a highly sensitive misuse of confidential information dispute.
- Settling a 13-party dispute with more than nine causes of action at a mediation.
- Challenging jurisdiction for an English client served with legal proceedings in Spain.
- Working with forensic IT experts to complete a complex disclosure exercise in an international arbitration.
- Assisting two international clients with preparing their witness statements for a dispute in the Circuit Commercial Court.
