Gateley’s national charity for 2013/2014 was Anthony Nolan.
Anthony Nolan is a pioneering bone marrow and stem cell research charity, seeking to find the cure to blood cancer. The charity manages and recruits donors to the Anthony Nolan bone marrow register, providing a central database of bone marrow donors who are all willing to help save someone’s life.
Gateley has raised over £11,000 for Anthony Nolan during 2013/2014 and has also recruited 21 members of staff to the donor register. You can join the register by following the link below:
Gateley has raised the funds nationally; a joint effort between all of the offices. The fund raising activities have included dress down days, bake sales, sweepstakes, half marathons – even the London Marathon!
Ruth Armstrong is a partner in the Birmingham office and heads up the firm’s CSR activity. Ruth said: “As a firm we have raised nearly £30,000 this year for charitable causes and more than £1.5 million in the last decade. I’m immensely proud of the enthusiasm our teams have shown towards all of our fundraising initiatives and we’ve had a great deal of fun raising money for Anthony Nolan this year.”
