£74.5m management buy-out of Menzies Distribution

We have advised the management team of Menzies Distribution, backed by private equity firm Endless, on the £74.5m management buy-out from John Menzies Plc. This deal represents Endless’ largest investment to date.

Edinburgh-headquartered Menzies Distribution has a £1.1bn turnover and employs around 3,700 people across 56 sites throughout the UK and Ireland, serving customers in the press, travel and third-party logistics sectors.

The business distributes more than seven million newspapers and magazines a day, operating one of the largest overnight time-critical logistics networks in the UK and Ireland.
