Stuart Turner Limited's acquisition of Mikrofill Systems

We have advised internationally recognised pump and water boosting solutions provider, Stuart Turner, on its acquisition of pressurisation specialist Mikrofill Systems Ltd (Mikrofill).

Based in Redditch, Mikrofill has over 25 years of experience producing pressurisation units for sealed system control, commercial grade boilers and water heaters.

Stuart Turner, founded in 1906, are a prestige British manufacturer of pump and water boosting solutions with an international client base. They were supported in the transaction with follow-on funding provided by private equity house, LDC. 

LDC backed the management buy-out of Stuart Turner in 2017 to help the business target further growth in the commercial pumps sector and support international expansion. We have advised Stuart Turner on their three complementary acquisitions during their partnership with LDC. The acquisition of Mikrofill, which provides an exit for Mikrofill’s founders, follows its purchases of Fluid Water Solutions in 2019 and GAH Heating in October 2018.

Stuart Turner’s acquisition of Mikrofill will significantly expand their range of products and services so that they can provide their customers with the most comprehensive HVAC and water supply solutions across domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.
