We have advised Inspired PLC on the sale of the group’s non-core SME division for a total consideration of up to £10.5m. The transaction included the sale of Inspired’s non-core subsidiaries, Energisave Online Limited, KWH Consulting Limited and Simply Business Energy Limited.
Inspired PLC is the leading consultant for energy procurement, utility cost optimisation and legislative compliance in the UK and Ireland. The firm was established in 2000 and has since grown to become one of the country’s largest commercial energy advisors.
The disposal has been executed to allow Inspired PLC to focus exclusively on providing expert solutions and cost-effective services to its corporate energy consumers on its core, corporate markets.
The Gateley deal team was led by Corporate partner, and head of the Gateley Legal Manchester office, Paul Jefferson and included corporate Senior Associate Leigh Whittaker and banking Senior Associate Christopher Lister.
