Specialist property consultancy, Gateley Hamer, has expanded its team in Birmingham with the appointment of Edward Jones, new Head of Easements & Wayleaves and Surveyor Camilla Horsfall.
Edward joins from Carter Jonas where he was an associate partner for two years. Prior to that he worked for Dalcour Maclaren and Savills, specialising in utilities and development.
Edward said: “Joining Gateley Hamer is an exciting opportunity and I am very much looking forward to further expanding the team and building on our existing relationships with residential developers.”
Camilla also joins from Carter Jonas where she was a senior surveyor and prior to that, she was an associate at Pollock Associates.
Camilla said: “It’s great to have joined such a pioneering business which is growing rapidly and is at the forefront of the property sector. I look forward to bringing my expertise to the team and contributing to Gateley Hamer’s success.”
Both come from a rural surveying background, which adds to Gateley Hamer’s breadth of expertise in different specialist areas.
Jonathan Stott, Managing Director, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Ed and Camilla to the team. We are growing the business since being acquired by Gateley Plc in 2016 and to do so we need people with the right skills, experience and personality. Ed and Camilla are an excellent fit for us.”
Gateley Hamer is part of the wider Gateley Group and provides expert advice relating to Easements & Wayleaves for utilities infrastructure, and Compulsory Purchase & Compensation.
