Gateley Legal has been ranked the most active legal adviser for deals across the country for the first six months of 2019, in a report by Experian.

Gateley Legal also ranked number one in the Midlands, advising on 28 disclosable deals and number one in the South East advising on 14 disclosable deals.  The legal practice featured in the top ten in Yorkshire, the North West, the East of England and Wales.

Tom Durrant, partner and head of the national Corporate team, commented: “We’re pleased to have retained the top spot for the first half of 2019 for mergers and acquisitions activity, completing 67 disclosable deals.

“This is a great result for the team, particularly as deal volumes contracted slightly when compared with those recorded for the same period last year.”
