In memory of Iain Davies
On Monday 15 February 2021, Iain Davies sadly passed away following a 2-year illness. He died peacefully at home with his daughters by his side.
Legal Director Iain worked at Gateley for over 37 years having joined the firm as a trainee in 1983 and qualifying as a solicitor in 1987. He started his career as a general litigator before specialising in property litigation advising commercial landlords and tenants for over 20 years.
A brilliant property litigator, Iain was regularly recognised by the legal directories for his technical expertise with Chambers UK describing him as “very knowledgeable, very practical and thorough” and someone who was “technical and gets straight down to the nitty-gritty’”.
Outside of the law, Iain had a passion for music and played bass guitar in a band.
Our thoughts go to his two daughters and close friends at this very sad time.
