Kiddy & Partners, a global firm of business psychologists and part of law-led professional services group Gateley, will stage an interactive breakfast event bringing together expertise from Principal Consultant Carina Derrick and guest speaker, Robert Kovach, director of leader success at Cisco.
Carina will highlight the changes Kiddy has seen in the world of their clients’ work over the last decade. The main focus will be around the shift from HR-led to employee driven, from off-the-shelf responses to context-specific programmes, and from training for competence to creating behavioural transformation. She will also introduce Kiddy’s context, mind set, skillset model and explain how these three elements create the foundation for the company’s unique approach to leadership strategy, development and assessment.
Carina said: “Creating shift in leadership behaviour is the key to 21st century competitive advantage, but can be notoriously difficult to achieve, and even harder to sustain.
“The current rate of technological change is outpacing leaders and employees’ ability to adapt. To keep up, people practices need to change. But how? At this interactive breakfast event, I look forward to addressing these issues.” Guests will be invited to submit their questions to Slido via tablets that will be available at their tables which will then appear on the screen behind Carina and Robert so they can address them directly.
Robert Kovach will share the story of Cisco’s transformation journey that has seen them tear up the people playbook to revolutionise people practices in the organisation and how this has enabled individuals and teams to not only keep up with the pace of change, but to lead it.
In addition, Kiddy’s Head of Research, Dr Zara Whysall will share findings from an ongoing survey of HR, Learning & Development (L&D) and Talent practitioners, examining the current pace of change in a wide range of businesses and the extent to which organisations and their people are prepared to meet the challenges.
“There is still time for HR, L&D and recruitment practitioners to take part in the survey,” said Zara “I encourage people to complete the survey and further inform our research on employee attitudes and behaviour in the face of change. In return all participants will receive access to the final report with recommendations.”
Kiddy & Partners interactive breakfast event takes place on Thursday 4th July at 8:45am until 10:30am at The Moniker, 25 Fenchurch Ave, London EC3M 5AD. A buffet breakfast will be provided. People can register their attendance by emailing email@example.com
