The Leeds office of Gateley Plc, the legal business of law-led professional services group Gateley, has continued to expand its offering with the appointment of four new solicitors.
Gemma Irving joins the Construction team as a solicitor and professional support lawyer from Sweco UK, where she was head of legal and company secretary. Gemma has experience of both transactional and contentious matters, and her specialisms include procurement, arbitration, renewable energy and engineering.
The Construction team also welcomes solicitor Dominic Clark, who will be working alongside the Commercial Dispute Resolution unit. Dominic advises on every aspect of the property development process, from inception to completion, through to resolving issues and disputes that arise during the course of a project, or subsequently. He joins from Shulmans LLP.
In addition, solicitor Verity Mulkeen joins the Corporate team from Pinsent Masons, where she completed her training contract, while Natasha Jones is the newest addition to the Regulatory team, joining after qualifying as a solicitor from DLA Piper’s Liverpool office.
William Ballmann, head of the Leeds office, said: “Over the last five years, the Leeds team has grown rapidly, starting with just a team of five to now a team with over 70 members of staff. These appointments further expand our practice offering in Yorkshire and our services now include Banking & Finance, Corporate, Restructuring, Residential Development, Dispute Resolution, Regulatory, Construction and Real Estate.”
