Gateley Plc advised NASDAQ-listed, Ultralife Corporation, on the acquisition of Staffordshire based smart battery manufacturer, Accutronics Ltd.

Accutronics Ltd was acquired by Ultralife UK Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of Ultralife Corporation) in a deal worth £7.6 million. Accutronics Ltd designs and makes smart batteries and charger systems for medical applications and will supplement the existing business of Ultralife Corporation.

Headquartered in Newark, New York, Ultralife Corporation provides battery and energy products, and communication systems.

The deal was led from our Birmingham office by Corporate partner, Tom Durrant, supported by Corporate solicitor, Dean Chauhan. Banking advice was provided by Banking & Finance solicitor, James Miller.
