Becky is a specialist residential development lawyer who acts primarily for national housebuilders. She is part of the site set-up limb of our residential development unit and now specialises in the set-up of new build estates and the preparation of sales documentation for a variety of clients. She also deals with management agreements with management companies together with legal issues arising throughout the life of the developments.
Becky has previous experience in our land acquisitions team dealing with strategic and immediate land acquisitions, via conditional contracts and option agreements, as well as disposals of affordable housing to registered providers, both turnkey and golden brick. Becky previously specialised in general commercial property and has undertaken a wide range of work in this area including investor sales, corporate and projects support and landlord and tenant and has over 10 years of property experience.
- Acting for Bellway Homes in the acquisition and subsequent set-up for plot sales of a site in Lancashire which will provide up to 94 private and affordable dwellings with a projected gross development value of £22m.
- Acting for Linden Homes in the acquisition of part of an existing development and collaboration with another national house builder of a site in Yorkshire for the provision of 63 dwellings.
- Acting for Bellway Homes on the acquisition of a site in the Manchester area which will provide up to 140 private and affordable houses with a gross development value of £24m
- Acting for Miller Homes on the sale of 31 units to a registered proprietor at a Yorkshire estate under a golden brick agreement.
