Dominic has a broad practice in commercial shipping and yachting matters.

In commercial shipping, Dominic advises clients, chiefly shipowners, clubs, and freight forwarders, in relation to a range of disputes and non-contentious matters. He regularly advises on charterparty disputes, cargo claims and liens. He has also advised in relation to shipbuilding contracts – and shipbuilding disputes – as well as disputes relating to ports and terminals.

His work also includes cases relating to commodities and the international sale of goods, as well as related banking transactions, letters of credit etc.

On the yachting side, Dominic has advised and acted in relation to yachts of all sizes, including superyachts. He has particular expertise in relation to disputes involving the MYBA Charter form, but has also acted in relation to sale and purchase transactions and disputes, as well as refits.
