Simon has worked across numerous industry sectors for a variety of clients ranging from small businesses to multi-national listed companies and government bodies.

His expertise includes general contract disputes, breach of warranty claims, shareholder and partner disputes, professional negligence claims and fraud related claims.

Simon has developed particular expertise acting for clients within the residential development sector on a broad range of disputes, including in relation to disputes with vendors of land in respect of the terms of Option Agreements and Conditional Sale Agreements, disputes over rights of way, covenants and adverse possession, acting for clients in disputes with customers, contractors, utility providers and professional advisers in respect of property/land related issues.

  2. Acting for a construction company in relation to a £1m professional negligence claim against national firm of solicitors.
  3. Successfully defending a claim at a trial for £2.7m against Persimmon Homes for alleged breach of a joint venture agreement.
