WMCA High Growth Accelerator Programme

The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) has launched the High Growth Accelerator Programme (HGAP) and has appointed Gateley Global, part of Birmingham-headquartered Gateley Plc, as its delivery partner for the programme. The HGAP programme will provide intensive and tailored support to selected high growth SMEs in the WMCA area, helping them to unlock barriers to growth and to manage growth in a sustainable way. Between July 2024 and March 2025 each firm will be provided with a dedicated Key Account Manager (KAM). They will work with them and a) agree a growth ambition; b) baseline the current position; c) identify key challenges; and d) implement and monitor a plan for growth.

• Revenue or headcount growth >20% per year, for past 2 years.
• Must carry out 75% of your activities within the WMCA region.
• Min revenues £1m per year OR have received funding of >£500k in past 3 years.
• Max employee count is 250. Max revenues of £36m/year.
