A group of colleagues from our Birmingham office used their volunteering hours to give back to our planet.

Volunteering with the Heart of England Forest at Coughton Park in Warwickshire, the team spent the morning removing bracken, an important job in the establishment of new woodland, as it stops the release of chemicals into the soil, which inhibits the growth of other plants.

The Coughton Park woodland is a conifer plantation, which has been complemented by additional young woodland planted by the Heart of England Forest in 2011-2012.
