Expertise

Peter is a Chartered Engineer, and has been part of GSP’s Engineering Team since 2000.

During this time, Peter has developed a broad range of construction experience, with particular expertise in relation to structural defect diagnosis and causation, the specification of remedial designs and damage repairs.

Peter has worked on properties ranging from historic and listed buildings, to new construction for both commercial and domestic clients, including insurers, developers, local authorities and private individuals.

Peter has highly developed analytical, problem solving and report writing skills, providing technical and practical solutions to complex problems.

1. Causation reporting and assessment in relation to structural building defects and damages.
2. The specification and scheduling of building repairs.
3. Contract administration services in relation to building repairs following fires, floods, impact and other insurance damages.
4. Preparation of structural design and detailing in relation to new buildings and alterations.
5. Preparation of expert reports in relation to structural building work.
