Advising Cooper Parry on the acquisition of Haines Watts Thames

Insight shared by:

Gateley Legal

We have advised the UK’s fastest growing accountancy firm, Cooper Parry, on its acquisition of the Reading and Wokingham offices of national professional services firm Haines Watts.

The transaction, which represents Cooper Parry’s tenth acquisition in the last 20 months, will accelerate their expansion across the South-East, and further drive its ambition to be the number one adviser to mid-market businesses.

Gateley Legal’s corporate team comprised of partner Leigh Whittaker, senior associate Michael Rock, and solicitor Katie Brown.

Leigh Whittaker commented: “We are thrilled to have advised on this transaction, calling on our team’s extensive experience in the accountancy and financial services sector to assist Cooper Parry on this important deal.”

We were impressed by the Gateley team’s experience in the financial services sector. Their knowledge, expertise and commitment to our success were evident throughout the process, and we look forward to working with them again in the future.
Gavin Jones, M&A Director, Cooper Parry
