Advising YFM on investment in Ncam Technologies

We have advised specialist private equity fund manager, YFM Equity Partners, on its growth capital investment in Ncam Technologies Limited, a provider of innovative and leading augmented reality solutions for the entertainment industries. 

Ncam was founded in 2012 and its award-winning products are used globally across broadcast, film and TV production. Clients include Fantastic Beasts (Warner Bros), UEFA Champions League (BT Sport) and Game of Thrones Season 8 (HBO). 

YFM’s investment comes from its two advised VCTs, British Smaller Companies VCT plc and British Smaller Companies VCT2 plc, alongside the YFM Equity Partners 2015 Co-Investment LP. The funds will be used to support the development of new products, invest in the growth of the team and help the business extend its reach into new territories such as the USA, where a new office opening is planned for later this year.
