Andrew has a wealth of experience in the commercial real estate market, undertaking a full range of non-contentious real estate work. He advises on investment acquisitions and disposals, development, portfolio and asset management work and all aspects of commercial landlord and tenant work.

Andrew acts for a variety of public and private companies nationally, acting principally in the last few years for investors/asset managers in the retail sector.

Experience

1. Advising on the acquisition, management and disposal of numerous shopping centre schemes throughout the UK including Garden Square Letchworth (for Helical Bar Plc), Royal Quays Outlet Centre, North Shields (for North Shields Investment Properties), the Westgate Centre, Stevenage (for WD Westgate Partners LLP) and most notably The Galleria, Hatfield (for WD Limited) which Andrew’s team sold to Land Securities for over £120m (Land Securities subsequently retaining the team to deal with ongoing management work).
2. Advising WD Limited on the development, and subsequent management, of The Kingsgate Centre, a 300,000 sq. ft. shopping complex in Huddersfield, established as the prime retail location in the town.
3. Advising N Brown Group Plc on the national high street roll out of their Simply Be, Jacamo and High & Mighty brands.
