Gateley Legal’s Nottingham corporate team has secured a triple win at this year’s East Midlands Rainmaker Awards.
Transactions that Gateley Legal has acted on won three of the deals categories: Private Equity Exit of the Year for advising on YFM’s exit of DSP Group and sale to LDC and International Deal of the Year and Large Deal of the Year (over £50m) for advising on the sale of Serif to Canva.
The team was also shortlisted in a further four categories – Small Deal of the Year, Medium Deal of the Year, Legal Team of the Year and partner and national head of corporate, Beth Mather, was shortlisted for Changemaker of the Year.
Held at Crowne Plaza in Nottingham, the East Midlands Rainmaker Awards is one of the most prestigious events in the region’s corporate finance calendar. It brings together the dealmaking community to celebrate the top transactions, teams, and individuals over the past year.
