We have advised the shareholders of Worcester-based logistics, warehousing and distribution business Stop Start, on their recent sale of a majority stake in Stop Start to Swedish-owned Storskogen UK.
The Gateley team, led by Andrew Cowan including senior associate William Bowler and trainee solicitor Zhuo Li, advised the shareholders of the company that was founded in 1986 and has grown from a one van business to an organisation with national coverage and presence.
The disposal will strengthen both companies, providing their respective customers with added value and allowing Stop Start to explore further expansion and new markets.
Andrew Cowan said “we are delighted to have advised the shareholders of a strong local business in Stop Start on this transaction that will allow the business to go from strength to strength”.
