Team effort raises over £2,000 for The Mustard Tree
Our Manchester office has exceeded the Mustard Tree’s Christmas Campaign fundraising target of £1,000 and raised an astounding £2,119 in just four months.
Colleagues came together for bake offs, raffles, sweepstakes, drinks trolleys and a Christmas competition.
A spokesperson for The Mustard Tree commented: “On behalf of everyone at Mustard Tree, we would like to say a MASSIVE thank you for the financial support over Christmas. Unrestricted funding is so important for us – as we are now seeing a footfall of more than 10,000 a month – it allows us to allocate money where it is needed most, whether this is for food, hardship costs, or travel. We smashed our corporate target, which was set at £12,000, and raised £26,000 in total. Thank you so much.”
The Mustard Tree create opportunities for people to help themselves through providing practical support, friendship, connections into work, improvements to health and wellbeing plus new experiences to encourage aspiration. They believe in a Greater Manchester where everyone has the opportunity to be a connected, valued and contributing member of society.
