Our Leeds office ran a couple of events for Mental Health Awareness Week this year.
They started with a coffee and cake morning where Abi from The Wellbeing Garden gave a brilliant interactive session on meditation and mindfulness. She took colleagues through some meditation techniques, discussed how to cope with our workdays, and spoke about the benefits of having just five minutes in the day away from your desk and how to use it to your best advantage.
The office also organised a lunch-time walking group, and a running group around the Leeds canal which was well received by the team. On return to the office, colleagues networked while enjoying fresh fruit from a local greengrocer.
Both events were well attended and enjoyed by all who got involved.
