Our Nottingham office has chosen Framework as its charity partner for the next 12 months.

Working with thousands of people across Nottinghamshire every year, the charity provides housing, employment and support and care services to those who are or at risk of homelessness. This includes street outreach, talking to and supporting those experiencing rough sleeping, or helping people deal with bills and societal demands before everything piles up too high.

Ruth Armstrong, head of CSR at Gateley and national head of the company’s Regulatory team, said: “Every year our staff nominate the charities they care about and everyone within the business is able to vote. Framework was selected as Nottingham’s charity of the year and it is a great feeling to know we are going to help such a wonderful organisation raise awareness of the homelessness crisis.

“The charity will be the focus of our fundraising efforts throughout the year, which will include dress-down Fridays, auctions and raffles amongst other things.”

Partnerships manager at Framework, Jessica Powell said: “With Gateley’s support we can help the most vulnerable people in our community. It will enable us to deal with a wide range of issues and help those affected by homelessness; substance misuse, mental health and long-term unemployment turn their lives around for the better because everyone deserves that chance.”
