Expertise

He works predominantly in the North West and London and specialises in advising upon corporate strategy and trading whilst under financial pressure, often during the twilight zone. This advice requires a solution driven approach with Andrew often accepting the lead advisor role to highlight transactional and corporate restructuring solutions.

He acts for private and public companies, financial institutions, funders and other stakeholders. He has recently represented our surety clients upon a number of very significant restructuring assignments.

Experience

Andrew has significant restructuring sector experience in retail, construction, automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, law firms, other professional services, hotel and leisure, hospitals, care homes, real estate and sport.

Successes

He took the lead role upon the successful company voluntary arrangements of Flannels, La Tasca Restaurants and Walkabout Bars.

He has acted in relation to many other complex restructurings and insolvencies: experience which includes Allsports, Transtec, MG Rover, TVR, Moben, Dolphin, Sharps, Triplex Components, Karrimor, Plaxton Coaches, Ilford, Oceans Furniture, Sofas (UK), Living Rooms, Baumatic, Fairhome Care Homes, Vista Independent Hospital and Clean Air Power.

He has acted upon a number of significant administration purchases and management buy outs, such as Ilford Film and Plaxton Coaches. He acted for Candy Hoover upon their acquisition of Baumatic.

He has acted in relation to numerous law firm insolvencies and restructurings: to include Halliwells (as Solicitor Manager), Challinors, Marsden Rawsthorn, Cobbetts, Rowlands, Ashton Fox, Tandem Law and Barnetts.
