Expertise

Sindhu is a Land Access Coordinator within Gateley Hamer’s Land Access team. Sindhu’s role involves:

  • Coordinating land access for a variety of land surveys by acting as the link between the Project Management Team and on-site surveying teams.
  • Liaising with landowners to ensure compliance with the Land Access Procedure deadlines.
  • Keeping landowners updated and dealing with queries regarding land access.
  • Obtain third party licence agreements
  • Requesting or ensuring renewal of access permissions as required by the programme.
  • Working closely with the Project Management team and Scheduling teams.
  • Developing effective working relationships with landowners, key stakeholders and community representatives.

Experience

  1. Ensuring that survey access runs smoothly and continuing to build relationships with landowners so that there are minimal risks and objections.
  2. Working on land access for the following Gateley Hamer projects: A358, A27 (both National Highway projects), Viking CCS Pipeline (Carbon Capture) and Gate Burton Energy Park (Solar).
  3. Advising National Highways on the A358 project (due to access being denied) when to utilise s172 powers.
  4. Working on a large infrastructure project, prior to joining Gateley Hamer, which involved reviewing consents for completeness and submitting Schedule 4 (Highways and Traffic Management), Section 28 (SSSI) Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981, Schedule 33 (Water) HS2 Act 2017 and Section 61 (Noise) Control of Pollution Act 1974 paperwork to the Client.
