Gateley’s asset finance and leasing team celebrates a successful season of award wins.

Our asset finance and leasing team has been named Professional Services Provider at the Leasing Life Awards, its second award win in as many months.

The award, which was accepted by partner James Baird at the George V Hotel in Paris, comes just a few weeks after the team secured its fourth consecutive win as Top Asset Finance Legal Team at the Leasing World Gold Awards.

“I am thrilled to win these awards against such international competition,” James said. “They are further endorsements of the team’s ability to develop lasting relationships with clients, through which we can design and execute strategies to deliver precisely what the clients want and need – both in advisory and contentious scenarios.”

The Leasing Life Awards concluded a one-day conference on the future of the leasing industry. Judges for the Awards, which included 11 categories in total, praised the Gateley team’s ESG leadership and consistently high net promoter score, as well as client endorsements of its ability to provide “innovative solutions to difficult problems”.

The Leasing World Gold Awards, held a month earlier in London’s Bankside Hilton, welcomed more than 250 guests across the asset finance and leasing industry. Winners were chosen based on their business growth, dynamism, clever ideas, and good management. The award was collected by associate Edmund Locock.

“To win four years in a row is a tremendous affirmation of our approach and our dedication to deliver relevant commercial legal advice to the industry,” James said.

Our specialist asset finance and leasing team covers contentious and non-contentious work, advising in all aspects of credit, asset finance and leasing, financial compliance, regulation, and related litigation. Our clients include banks, specialist asset finance lenders, and leasing companies, as well as Gateley’s other corporate clients, such as housebuilders, retailers, and football clubs.
