Our London office has chosen to support Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest as its new charity partner.

Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest was set-up in 1980 to support and empower people with experience of mental health. The local branch delivers innovative, collaborative services to support peoples' mental well-being, resilience and recovery in the region.

Ruth Armstrong, head of CSR at Gateley Legal and partner in the company’s Regulatory team, said: “Every year we ask staff to nominate the charities they care about and everyone in the business gets a vote. Our London office selected Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest as its charity of the year. We are really excited to partner with this wonderful organisation and help people who are in need of our support.

“The charity will be the focus of our fundraising efforts throughout the year, which will include dress-down Fridays, organised walks and runs, raffles and much more.”

Chief Executive at Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest (Mind CHWF), Krishna Marahaj commented: “We are delighted that Gateley has decided to partner with our wonderful charity. Mental health affects so many of us, but there is a real shortage of support services to ensure that people don't suffer alone. The input from Gateley will be invaluable in helping us to support the hundreds of thousands of people in the UK who are struggling with mental health issues.”
