  • Discussion / Virtual

Following the success of last year’s webinar series, we’re launching a new series of live bitesize planning webinars which will take place on a weekly basis.

Each webinar will explore at least one key planning issue or update that impacts on property developments and regeneration. You can join one webinar, some webinars or (hopefully) all six, whichever works for your diary and interests.

What will webinar 5 cover?

A consultation was announced by the Ministry of Housing Local Government on 30th January 2021 which sought views on draft revisions to the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF). The text has been revised to implement policy changes in response to the Building Better Building Beautiful Commission “Living with Beauty” report that was published in January 2020, as well as the draft National Model Design Code which provides detailed guidance on the production of design codes, guides and policies to promote successful design and is proposed to form part of national planning policy. Both documents were made available for public comment until 27 March 2021.

Our expert will look at the proposed revisions to the NPPF.

Should anyone wish to review the draft revised NPPF document or the draft National Model Design Code before the webinar, you can download these below:
