Jessica advises employers and trustees of occupational pension schemes on a wide range of pensions issues and has a wide breath of experience in drafting pension scheme documentation. She regularly provides advice and support in relation to the pensions aspects of corporate transactions where her role usually includes carrying out legal due diligence and drafting warranties and indemnities.
Jessica advises employers on their auto enrolment obligations and she has acted on pension surety bond matters in the construction, entertainment and telecommunication industries.
Jessica is a full member of the Association of Pension Lawyers. She is also a Trustee Associate at Entrust Pension Limited, a leading independent professional trustee company which helps organisations operate their pension schemes effectively, and an accredited professional pension trustee. - Providing day-to-day advice in relation to the management and governance of occupational pension schemes.
- Advising on the introduction of pension surety bonds to replace physical assets required for alternative business purposes.
- Advising on the pensions aspects of corporate transactions.
- Advising employers on their auto enrolment obligations.
- Reviewing the benefit specification and advising on the buy-out of a £100m scheme to secure the benefits of all members and reduce the risk to the corporate sponsor.
