We have advised private capital investment firm Connection Capital on its backing of the management buyout of Tracsis Events Limited from AIM-listed transport technology provider Tracsis plc.
Tracsis Events is a leading provider of event transport planning, traffic management and parking services, supporting major outdoor events and fixed venues across the UK, including Silverstone, Glastonbury Festival, Etihad Campus, Bicester Village and the RHS. The business has built a strong reputation within the sector, helping event organisers safely manage the movement of attendees and vehicles at large-scale events.
The transaction sees Connection Capital partner with the management team, Alex Brunel and David MacDonald, as Tracsis Events embarks on its next phase of growth as an independent business. The investment provides a platform for the company to build on its established market position and pursue further opportunities across the UK events sector.
The Gateley Legal team was led by corporate partners Victoria Elliott and Jamie Gillespie, supported by Sophie Gill and Richard Middleton-Androsov.
