Jaclyn advises clients on both non-contentious and contentious construction matters which cover regional, national and international projects. Jaclyn has experience advising on high-value projects spanning a vast range of sectors including logistics, retail, education, commercial and residential.

In her non-contentious work, Jaclyn assists with transactions acting on behalf of all stakeholders including funders, employers and contractors. Jaclyn’s work includes involvement at the early stages of a project and covers drafting schedules of amendments to standard form contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties and construction security packages such as performance bonds and parent company guarantees.

In her contentious work, Jaclyn assists in a range of disputes arising out of construction contracts including payment disputes and defects including fire safety claims. Jaclyn has experience of adjudication, arbitration (both domestic and international), mediation and litigation.

Jaclyn draws on her background of having previously worked for a main contractor on a large healthcare project as well as previously having worked for a claims consultancy business and is therefore no stranger to general construction disputes including delay, loss and expense claims, termination and final account disputes.
