John joined the Board as Chief Financial Officer elect on 5 January 2026 and formally became the Chief Financial Officer on 1 May 2026.
John brings considerable finance, M&A, transformation, corporate strategy, capital markets and professional services growth experience to the Group, and was most recently Chief Financial Officer at Alpha Financial Markets Consulting between 2018 and 2025.
Prior to that, John spent 11 years at HSBC Bank plc where he held various roles, including as a director in both of the bank’s Commercial Banking and Global Banking & Markets divisions in London. John is a qualified accountant, having started his career with seven years at KPMG in various roles including audit, corporate finance advisory and risk management consulting.
John is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
