Advising Connectors & Switchgear Ltd on its sale to Swedish-based Addtech

We have advised the shareholders of Connectors & Switchgear Limited, a leading UK provider of electrical connectors and switchgear systems, on the sale of the business to Swedish-listed technology solutions group Addtech AB for an undisclosed consideration.

Established in 1970 and headquartered in Banbury, Connectors & Switchgear has built a strong reputation as one of the UK’s premier suppliers of electrical connectors and switchgear systems, serving customers across the power and infrastructure sectors.

The acquisition forms part of Addtech’s continued bolt-on growth strategy within selected technology niches. Addtech is a publicly listed technical solutions group with approximately 4,000 employees globally and annual sales exceeding SEK22bn (c. £1.72bn). The group comprises around 150 independent subsidiaries operating under their own brands and is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
