Colleagues from across the business took some time out this month to volunteer with our sustainability charity partner, The Heart of England Forest, and care for the tree seedlings at Coughton Park Tree Nursery.

Under the glorious spring sunshine, the team successfully transplanted 1,604 Guelder Rose and Field Maple saplings into cells at the tree nursery, which will form a core part of the future woodland. The seedlings transplanted on the day will have a lasting impact on the health and sustainability of the Forest, helping to create a greener future for generations to come.

After a morning of hard work, the team also enjoyed a guided walk through the woods, giving everyone a real sense of the Forest they are helping to create.

Louise Hodgkinson, Responsible Business Manager, said: “It was a great opportunity to bring colleagues together and make the most of the beautiful spring day in the Forest. Spending time outside is great for your mental health and wellbeing, and giving something back to the environment aligns perfectly with our commitment to sustainability.”
