Gateley deal wins top award at South-East Dealmakers 2024

Our corporate finance team is celebrating after one of its deals with SME Capital won the Deal of the Year (sub £10m) at the Insider South-East Dealmakers Awards 2024.

We advised SME Capital on its backing of a management buy-out of HRSRail. The deal was led by banking partner Richard Sealy, assisted by Zum Mohammed, Hannah Hogarth and Katrina Groark. The judges praised the impressive commercial acumen demonstrated by all parties involved.

HRSRail was founded in 2015 and is a leading supplier of specialist track-related products and services to the UK Rail Industry.

We were also shortlisted for two further deals in the Private Equity/ Venture Capital Deal of the Year category – advising Foresight Group on its £7m investment into The KSL Clinic and acting for LDC on its exit and reinvestment in digital transformation service provider FSP.
