Nine partners named amongst raft of promotions at Gateley
Legal and professional services group Gateley has announced 44 promotions across the UK, including the appointment of nine partners.
The nine partner promotions span Gateley’s London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Reading offices and include private client lawyer Ravi Francis, corporate lawyers Sarah Souter and Leigh Whittaker, residential development lawyers Keelie Evans and Tom Platt, banking lawyers Chris Lister and Jo Belmonte, tax lawyer Richard Clitherow and restructuring lawyer Kathryn Hacking.
Rod Waldie, partner and CEO of Gateley, said: “We have always been committed to developing the talent we have within our business and that remains equally important during challenging times.
“All of our promotions are extremely well deserved and those colleagues have all shown a determination to be forward thinking and go above and beyond for the business and their clients. Alongside that each of them has demonstrated, in abundance, our Gateley Team Spirit which are our shared values that underpin our culture at Gateley. I’m delighted that we are able to recognise them for their efforts in this way.”
The 44 promotions cover Gateley’s banking, construction, corporate, commercial dispute resolution, commerce, technology and media, employment, planning, private client, residential development, restructuring, real estate and tax teams. They also include Gateley’s property consultancy business Gateley Hamer and specialist human capital consultancy, t-three.
Gateley has also recently appointed residential development partner, Helen O’Neill to its Newcastle office. Helen has over 18 years’ experience and joins from Ward Hadaway, where she worked for the past 13 years, assisting both national and regional housebuilders on a variety of private and social housing projects.
Helen will join Newcastle office head and partner, George Parker-Fuller to develop Gateley Legal’s residential development offering in the North East.
