We have advised Palatine-backed FourNet, the customer experience and AI transformation partner, on its acquisition of SVL Business Solutions, a Glasgow-headquartered specialist in digital transformation, customer experience and cloud solution services.

The transaction brings together two complementary businesses that have worked together for nearly a decade, creating a combined organisation of more than 230 employees, over 450 customers and revenues approaching £65m.

The acquisition will strengthen FourNet’s customer experience transformation offering, particularly in financial services and other regulated sectors, while adding specialist expertise in contact centre technology, interaction analytics and workforce management.

The deal also strengthens FourNet’s presence in Scotland and expands its capabilities in helping organisations introduce AI and emerging technologies securely and effectively.

Our team was led by Manchester corporate partner Leigh Whittaker, supported by Harry Davies (corporate), Christopher Lister and Rebecca Lakhani (banking), and Rachel Palmer (tax).

This acquisition represents an important step in FourNet’s growth strategy and further strengthens our ability to help clients transform the customer experience through technology and AI. Gateley provided commercially focused advice throughout the transaction and worked seamlessly alongside our management team and investors to help deliver a successful outcome.
Richard Pennington, co-founder and CEO of FourNet

Leigh Whittaker, added: “We’re delighted to have supported FourNet on this strategic acquisition. The deal strengthens its market offering and demonstrates continued investor confidence in high-growth technology-enabled businesses.”
