We have announced nine promotions at our London office, headlined by banking lawyer Niall Mahon being made up to partner.

Mahon acts on a range of banking and finance matters including leveraged and acquisition finance for clients including UK banks, debt funds, financial institutions, and corporate borrowers.

We have also made further senior promotions, with corporate lawyer Ryan Brown and complex and international recovery lawyer Annabel Chapman both made legal director.

As the Group continues to expand its specialist residential development team in London and the South, there were also promotions for Celine Boys and Jennifer Edwards to senior associate and Stephen Redmond to associate.

Elsewhere, we have also made a trio of promotions across our integrated consultancy businesses including the appointment of Daniel Snow as associate director at Gateley Capitus, the Group’s tax incentive practice, and Ross Hazelwood as associate at Gateley Hamer, our specialist property consultancy. Rachel Bright is promoted to associate at Austen Hays, Gateley’s class actions practice, having advised and assisted on a wide range of disputes, including complex and high value collective actions.

Richard Healey, board member and London office head, said:

“Congratulations to everybody who has been promoted this year after a year of hard work which has delivered fantastic results for our clients.”

“The breadth of practices in which we have promoted this year is testament to the wide variety of services we offer across an exceptional team here in London. We look forward to supporting each of those promoted as they take the next steps in their career at Gateley.”

These promotions are part of 69 announced by Gateley across the UK and Dubai, including 11 made up to partner.
