We have advised the shareholders of Optifarm Ltd on the sale of its entire issued share capital to Munters Netherlands Holding B.V.
Munters, a global leader in climate control technologies, has acquired Optifarm, a UK-based provider of AI-driven livestock monitoring solutions. The acquisition strengthens Speria, the commercial brand within Munters’ FoodTech business area, further advancing its operational intelligence offering.
Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Chesterfield, Optifarm operates across 18 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, where the business has evolved from a broiler farming services provider – into a specialist in AI-driven farm insights and is now entering an early growth phase. The transaction will enable Munters to further expand its digital capabilities, while providing Optifarm with the platform and resources to accelerate growth and broaden its international reach.
