Our annual Go Walking with Gateley event returned this May, with more than 30 clients, colleagues and contacts joining us for a 10-mile excursion to mark Mental Health Awareness Week.

The group spent the day walking in the Yorkshire Dales, taking in the stunning countryside whilst experiencing all four seasons in one day. As well as a chance to build relationships, the event serves as a reminder of the benefits of being outdoors and amongst nature and the impact it can have on our mental health and wellbeing.

The event started with essential fuelling thanks to breakfast at the Clarendon Arms in Hebden, before the route saw them head to Grassington and Conistone before taking in Kilnsey Crag. They then returned to Grassington and followed the river back to Hebden where a well-deserved drink and hot buffet was awaiting their arrival.

Pauline Munro, partner at Gateley Legal, said of the day: “Go Walking with Gateley is a fantastic way to spend time with clients and colleagues, experiencing all the benefits that walking in nature can bring – particularly during Mental Health Awareness Week. Thank you to everyone who joined us on the day, we hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did and we look forward to seeing you again next year!”
