Our pro bono work reflects a commitment to using our professional expertise to support organisations working at the heart of our communities. Through long-term partnerships and ongoing collaboration, we provide practical support that helps create meaningful and sustainable outcomes.

Over the past year, our teams have worked with organisations across health, culture, education and social inclusion, applying legal, commercial and business expertise where it can make the greatest difference. This included supporting Netball Aid in delivering its inaugural charity event in Birmingham in aid of BBC Children in Need and providing pro bono marketing support to the Birmingham Opera Company, helping strengthen its visibility and build corporate partnerships.

We continue to support Baby Lifeline, a national maternity and baby charity, through governance advice, fundraising support and ongoing collaboration. These contributions help strengthen the charity’s ability to deliver essential services and improve maternity care outcomes. In addition, our involvement in education initiatives, including the Greater Birmingham Professional Skills Academy, local schools and multi-academy trusts, supports young people in accessing opportunities and pathways into professional careers.

Our people also contribute their expertise through trustee and governor roles, supporting organisations such as The William Dudley Trust, Gilgal Women’s Refuge and the Birmingham Big Art Project. Through these roles, we provide guidance on governance, safeguarding and strategy, while helping organisations deliver initiatives that support vulnerable groups, promote inclusion and enrich local communities.

Across these partnerships, our role goes beyond financial support. By sharing skills, insight and leadership, we help organisations build capacity and strengthen the impact of their work. In turn, these collaborations create wider benefits, supporting individuals, families and communities, and reinforcing the importance of working together to achieve lasting, positive change.
