We are pleased to announce three new senior appointments from within our national corporate legal services team.

Paul Jefferson, who is a corporate partner and the office head at Manchester, has joined the Gateley strategic board.

Charles Glaskie, also a Manchester-based corporate partner, has been appointed to head the Corporate Platform, being one of our four market-facing Platforms offering to clients complementary legal and consultancy services. The Corporate Platform brings together the skills of corporate, banking and finance, tax, commercial and restructuring lawyers in Gateley Legal with experienced consultants in our inward investment business, International Investment Services. The Corporate Platform sits alongside our other Platforms in Business services, People and Property.

Paul and Charles both have many years of transactional corporate experience, having led on a variety of M&A deals and private equity transactions.

The third appointment sees our Midlands-based corporate partner, Beth Mather, become national head of the corporate team within Gateley Legal. Beth joined us as a trainee and became a partner in 2019. She is a specialist in M&A transactions, many with an international dimension, buy-outs and disposals, with a focus on private equity.

Rod Waldie, CEO of Gateley, said: “The teams on our Corporate Platform are highly regarded and are significant contributors to the ongoing growth and development of Gateley.  This trio of appointments from within our corporate legal services team is exciting and progressive.

“A core part of our strategy is to continue to diversify on each of our Platforms to enhance the range and depth of services to our clients. Paul, Charles and Beth all have the experience and vision needed to help us to continue our journey to become a differentiated professional services business that delights our clients, inspires our people and supports the communities in which we are located.”
