Gateley Middle East has announced a strategic partnership with Dariba Technologies (“Daribatech”), a leading tax technology company based in Dubai to support businesses preparing for the UAE’s mandatory eInvoicing regime, which comes into effect for the first phase of in-scope businesses on 1 January 2027.
The partnership brings together Gateley Middle East’s legal and tax advisory expertise with Daribatech’s accredited eInvoicing platform, creating a single, coordinated solution for businesses navigating one of the most significant tax compliance and digital transformation initiatives in the UAE. Daribatech is listed by the UAE Ministry of Finance as an Accredited Service Provider for the UAE’s eInvoicing framework.
Under the partnership, Gateley Middle East and Daribatech will work together to help organisations assess readiness, address tax and operational challenges, implement the appropriate technology solution, complete testing and validation and maintain ongoing compliance and audit readiness with evolving eInvoicing and tax requirements.
The UAE’s eInvoicing framework represents a major shift in how businesses issue, exchange and report invoice data. Businesses with annual revenues of AED 50 million or more are required to appoint an Accredited Service Provider by 30 October 2026, ahead of the mandatory go-live date of 1 January 2027.
Renan Ozturk, Partner and Head of Tax at Gateley Middle East, commented: “Our exclusive partnership with Daribatech combines our specialist tax and legal expertise with one of the region’s leading tax technology solutions, helping businesses implement e-invoicing with confidence and efficiency. This collaboration reflects our commitment to being a truly integrated legal and tax provider.
