We have completed the acquisition of three businesses on behalf of new client Soris Acquisition, the parent company of Water Direct.

The three purchased companies specialise in the provision, storage and transportation of water (from bottled to tankered), across a number of sectors, including construction, agriculture and manufacturing. This is our first instruction from Soris Acquisition who approached us after we previously advised one of their investors on their investment in Water Direct.

“We’re pleased to get this deal over the line for the client,” said Tom Rush. “They approached us having previously seen our work with one of the company’s investors and we were more than happy to support them on what is a significant deal. We now look forward to continuing to grow the relationship and working with Water Direct further.”

Adam Johnson, CEO for Water Direct, commented: “I’d like to convey my appreciation for the hard work and professionalism shown by Gateley throughout this transaction. It has been a pleasure having them on our side to get the deal finalised and I look forward to working with the team on various other requirements moving forward.”

The deal was led by Tom Rush in our Birmingham office. Alison Davidson-Cox, Janai Parker and Parmjit Singh (Birmingham) and Kerry Gibbons and Emma Worthington (Leeds) were also instrumental as part of the team working on the deal.
